Sr. Organizational Change Manager

The Senior Organizational Change Manager is responsible for planning, leading, driving strategic change initiatives within our client organizations. This role focuses on facilitating and managing the people side of change to achieve successful adoption and utilization of new processes, systems, and technologies. The Senior Organizational Change Manager works closely with cross-functional teams, leaders, and stakeholders to design, implement, and monitor change management strategies that maximize employee engagement and minimize resistance during periods of transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

Change Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute change management strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, building strong relationships that foster buy-in, support, and alignment for change initiatives.

Communication Planning: Develop comprehensive communication plans to deliver clear and consistent messaging about changes, benefits, and impacts.

Change Impact Analysis: Assess the potential impact of changes on employees, processes, and systems. Identify and address potential challenges or resistance and develop mitigation strategies to ensure a smooth transition.

Training and Development: Collaborate with training teams to design and implement training programs that equip employees with the skills and knowledge required to adopt new processes or technologies.

Change Adoption Measurement: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of change initiatives.

Coaching and Support: Provide coaching and support to leaders and managers in guiding their teams through change.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles related to change initiatives and develop proactive strategies to mitigate these risks.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of change management activities, progress, and outcomes. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership to communicate the status of change initiatives.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in organizational change management.
  • Certification in change management methodologies such as PROSCI, or similar is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess data, trends, and feedback to inform decision-making.
  • Familiarity with technology adoption and transformation processes is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change initiatives to successful outcomes.
